From October 9 to 15, the Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), will visit China and South Korea to promote travel and tourism business opportunities in Canada. The Minister of State will meet with tourism operators from key Asian markets as well as with representatives from Canadian businesses operating in Asia. His trip will help foster new opportunities presented by the Approved Destination Status agreement with China and will promote travel from key markets in Asia to Canada.
