Federal Departments and Agencies Responsible for Tax and Financial Policy

Canada Revenue Agency administers the tax laws for the Government of Canada and for most provinces and territories, as well as various social and economic benefit and incentive programs, including the Foreign Convention and Tour Incentive Program.

The Department of Finance Canada develops policies and provides advice to the federal government to create a healthy economy for all Canadians. This responsibility includes designing and analyzing Canada's tax policies, which have a direct impact on tourism.
